Girishikhara Otakakosu village in Komarada mandal of Parvathipuram Manyam district is located nearly seven kilometres away from the plains. The absence of proper road connectivity continues to pose severe hardships for the tribal population, forcing them to depend on forest paths to access basic services.
Sixteen-year-old tribal girl Vatka Nimmalamma, who was suffering from paralysis, recently became unable to walk. On Tuesday, her father Vatka Narasayya and relatives carried her on a traditional doli to Battimugavalasa, a nearby plains area. From there, she was shifted by ambulance to the Parvathipuram district hospital. Relatives stated that her health condition is currently stable.
