The All India Congress Committee has taken a key decision in view of the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections by appointing prominent Telangana Congress leaders as star campaigners. These include Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy. In addition, Uttam Kumar Reddy has been given extra responsibilities and appointed as a senior observer for 12 out of the 28 Assembly constituencies where the Congress party is contesting in Tamil Nadu.
The Congress party is contesting the Tamil Nadu elections in alliance with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). These appointments are seen as a strategic move to strengthen the party’s campaign efforts in the state. The Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on the 23rd of this month.
