Telangana Assembly Budget Session Dates Officially Announced!

The schedule for the Telangana Assembly Budget Session has been finalized, with the session set to begin on March 16, 2026. Following the directions of Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, the Assembly Secretary issued an official notification on Sunday (March 8). According to the notification, the Assembly will convene at 11:45 AM on March 16, and the Governor will address the joint session of both Houses on the first day.

On the following day, discussions will be held on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address. Meanwhile, the state government is expected to present the 2026–27 annual budget on March 20 in the Assembly. It may be recalled that during the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on February 23, the government decided to conduct the Budget Session from March 16 to March 30.
