Despite past government campaigns like #Say No To Betting Apps, banning hundreds of apps, illegal betting has resurfaced through social media platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

Authorities warned that strict action will be taken against influencers promoting such risky apps. Surveillance is also being conducted on offline betting in farm houses and secret locations. People are urged to report any illegal betting activity in their vicinity by calling Dial 100 or WhatsApp at 94906 16555.
