In the ongoing HD movie piracy case, iBomma Ravi has reportedly revealed several shocking details during the investigation. According to sources, he explained the method used to illegally record films and distribute them through Telegram channels.
As per Ravi’s statements, movies were recorded in HD format by hacking satellite links. The pirated content was then circulated through exclusive Telegram channels. Investigators identified a Telegram channel named “HD Hub” as a key platform used for distributing the pirated movies.
The investigation revealed that piracy links were uploaded and sold for USD 100 to 300 per movie. Through this method, several newly released films were allegedly leaked illegally.
Officials confirmed that films such as HIT, Thandel, and Kishkindha Kaandam were recorded using satellite links and distributed via Telegram. The incident has caused serious concern within the film industry.
With piracy continuing to cause significant financial losses to producers, industry representatives are demanding strict action against such illegal activities to curb digital piracy and protect the film ecosystem.
