The Andhra Pradesh government is set to distribute houses to around 2.5 lakh beneficiaries today as part of its second phase of housing allocation. This includes nearly 1 lakh TIDCO houses along with another 1.5 lakh homes being given to eligible families across the state. This initiative is aimed at providing secure housing to thousands of people.
A special event will be held in Puduru, located in Tirupati district, where Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will take part in the program and officially hand over the houses. With this distribution, the total number of houses provided so far will reach around 5.5 lakh, according to government sources.
Earlier, on November 12, 2025, the government had already distributed 3 lakh houses in the first phase. The ongoing effort reflects the state’s commitment to improving living conditions and supporting people with permanent housing.
