

The sacred Aditya Kshetram at Arasavalli glowed with divine splendour as the grand Ratha Saptami celebrations commenced, marking the festival of the Sun God who illuminates the universe. With Surya Jayanti coinciding with Sunday, devotees thronged the famous Sun Temple to witness the true form of Lord Adinarayana. The temple premises resonated with spiritual fervour, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere.
Devotees from various regions began arriving as early as 9 pm on Saturday, patiently waiting in long queues for darshan. The Mahaksheerabhishekam, which began at 12.30 am, was performed in a visually captivating manner amid Vedic chants and auspicious music. On the holy occasion of Magha Shuddha Saptami, the rituals were conducted under the supervision of chief priests Ippili Shankar Sharma and Ippili Nagesh Sharma, filling devotees with joy and devotion.
On behalf of the State Government, Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu offered silk garments to the deity. The celestial sight of Surya Narayana Swamy in his true form left devotees spellbound. The grand rituals, devotional chants, and enthusiastic participation of thousands of devotees marked the auspicious beginning of Ratha Saptami celebrations at one of the most revered temples in the state.
