Political Heat Over Tirumala Incident !

MLC Duvvada Srinivas responded strongly to the controversy over cake cutting in Tirumala. He clarified that they were not aware that cake cutting was not allowed in Tirumala and said the cake brought for his wife Tanuja’s birthday was eggless. He stated that Lord Venkateswara is the family deity of their household and that he had no intention of committing any disrespect in the sacred place.

Srinivas also alleged that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman had filed a police complaint against him and accused him of diverting attention with false propaganda. Questioning the allegations, he asked what mistake he had committed if the cake was eggless and insisted that he was not afraid of cases. He said they had done nothing wrong and would prove their stand in court, adding that if they had made any mistake, they were ready to face the consequences before the deity.
