

elangana’s rich cultural heritage took center stage during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the Indian diaspora in Malaysia on Saturday. The event witnessed a warm reception from overseas Indians, with vibrant cultural performances organized by the Malaysia Telangana Association (MAITA). Traditional Telangana festivities such as Bathukamma celebrations, Bonalu rituals, and Lambada dances captivated the audience and showcased the state’s cultural identity on an international platform.
MAITA President Saidam Tirupati praised the association’s women members for successfully preparing and presenting the seven-minute cultural performance within a short time. He expressed pride in highlighting Telangana’s cultural essence on a global stage. The event was attended by MAITA core committee members, organizational representatives, and a large number of members from the Indian diaspora, who extended their support and admiration to Prime Minister Modi.
