Uncertainty has intensified in West Asia due to the ongoing conflict, raising concerns over global oil transportation. After Iran took control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, fears grew about disruptions to crude oil shipments through one of the world’s most important maritime routes.
However, Iran has reportedly taken a key decision that brings relief to India. Following discussions between the foreign ministers of India and Iran, ships sailing under the Indian flag have been allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Reports indicate that two Indian oil tankers have already traveled safely through the route, easing concerns about energy supply.
