Nominations for Gram Panchayat Elections Begin!

Today marks the official start of the nomination process for Telangana's first phase of Gram Panchayat elections. All necessary arrangements have been made by election authorities to guarantee a seamless nomination filing process at designated centers.

The three-day nomination period will be followed by scrutiny on November 30. Until December 3, candidates may withdraw their nominations. According to officials, district administrations have been informed of all guidelines in order to preserve process transparency.

Elections will be held in the first phase for 37,440 ward member seats and 4,236 Sarpanch positions. Strong security measures are anticipated to be in place to ensure peaceful voting during this phase, which is set to take place on December 11.
