Sankranti Return Journey: Heavy Traffic Jam on Hyderabad–Vijayawada Highway

In Nalgonda district, traffic has increased at the Miryalaguda–Narketpally bypass. After the Sankranti festival, travelers returning from Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad are facing heavy congestion.

Vehicles diverted from Miryalaguda towards Haliya have caused kilometers of traffic on the bypass. Police are managing and regulating the slow-moving vehicles to control the traffic.

Similarly, in the Chityal area, a traffic jam of about 3 km occurred, with vehicles lined up from Chityal to Peddakaparthi. On the Vijayawada–Hyderabad National Highway, vehicles were diverted from Chityal towards Bhuvanagiri to ease the flow.
