

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the poster of the Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Maha Jatara, marking the beginning of grand invitations for the historic festival. Ministers Konda Surekha, Seethakka, Ponguleti, along with temple priests, met the Chief Minister and formally invited him to attend the Maha Jatara. Later, at Lok Bhavan, Ministers Seethakka and Konda Surekha, along with the priests of Sammakka Saralamma temple, presented the official invitation to Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, following traditional temple rituals.

The ministers briefed the Governor on the significance of the Medaram Jatara, known as the world’s largest tribal festival, and explained the ongoing and permanent development works being undertaken at the temple. They requested him to visit Medaram during the Jatara. Appreciating the rich tribal cultural heritage, the Governor assured that he would personally visit the Maha Jatara on one of the days. Executive Officer Veeraswamy was also present during the interaction.
