Kavitha Alleges Conspiracy Over Power Distribution Reforms

Kavitha has alleged that there is a conspiracy behind the proposed changes in the power distribution system, including the formation of a separate farmer focused discom and the privatization of the remaining two discoms. She said that such key decisions were kept secret for months before being casually mentioned by the Chief Minister during an informal interaction.

She also raised concerns over statements regarding 24-hour free electricity and the installation of meters on agricultural pumps. Kavitha demanded that the Chief Minister make a clear public statement, warning that any rollback of earlier promises would damage public trust and raise doubts about the government’s intentions.
