Due to the ongoing RTC strike, commuters in Hyderabad are facing serious travel problems. To reduce these difficulties, Hyderabad Metro has taken an important decision by increasing its train services. On the Miyapur-LB Nagar route, trains will now run every 4 minutes 20 seconds, while on the Nagole-Raidurg route, services will operate every 3 minutes 40 seconds.
Usually, during peak hours, trains run more frequently and reduce during non-peak times. However, because of the strike, the metro has decided to maintain frequent services throughout the day. Earlier, around 56 trains operated only during peak hours and reduced to 44 during non-peak hours, but now this reduction will not happen.
Metro officials also said they are considering extending services beyond 11 PM to further help passengers. This move is expected to provide relief to thousands of people who are struggling with transportation during the strike.
