Maoists Surrender in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli

In Maharashtra, 11 Maoists surrendered before the police in Gadchiroli. Authorities revealed that a total reward of ₹68 lakh had been announced for these individuals. Among those who surrendered were senior cadres holding key positions such as divisional committee members, area committee secretaries, and commanders.

Police officials stated that the number of Maoists surrendering has been steadily increasing. Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 123 Maoists have laid down their arms in the region. This development is seen as a positive step towards improving peace and security in the district.
