Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar died in a tragic aircraft accident on Wednesday after a chartered flight crashed near Baramati Airport. The incident occurred while he was travelling for District Parishad election campaign activities, sending shockwaves across the state.
According to official confirmation from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), all six people on board the aircraft lost their lives in the crash. The aircraft went down close to the airport premises under unclear circumstances. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, while emergency teams completed rescue operations at the site.
