Lunar Eclipse Today… Temples Remain Closed

A lunar eclipse will begin today at 3:20 PM and will end at 6:48 PM. The eclipse will last for more than three hours. As per traditional practices, several temples remain closed during the eclipse period.

Due to the lunar eclipse, many famous temples have been closed today. Tirumala Temple, Kanipakam Temple, Srisailam Temple, Dwaraka Tirumala Temple, Indrakeeladri, Yadadri Temple and Vemulawada Temple are closed for the day. Devotees will be allowed darshan again tomorrow after the purification rituals are completed.
