

Influenced by a trough extending from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu down to the Comorin region, light rains are occurring in several parts of Telangana. Rains accompanied by gusty winds have been recorded in districts such as Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mahabubnagar, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Medchal Malkajgiri, Narayanpet, and Vikarabad. Officials reported that the highest rainfall—6.4 cm—was recorded in Vatpally Mandal of Sangareddy district.
According to the Meteorological Department's forecasts, there is a possibility of rains accompanied by thunder and lightning in several districts across the state on Tuesday and Wednesday. Officials have issued a warning that crops and orchards could sustain damage, as gusty winds are expected to blow at speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. They further noted that, due to these rains, temperatures across the state have dropped below normal levels.
