

Hyderabad: Land prices in Kokapet Neopolis Layout continue to rain crores. In the third phase auction held on Wednesday, Plot No. 19 (4 acres) fetched ₹131 crore per acre, while Plot No. 20 (4.04 acres) was sold at ₹118 crore per acre. Though the minimum upset price was fixed at ₹99 crore per acre, these two plots together (8.04 acres) generated revenue of over ₹996 crore.
In the second phase auction held on November 28 this year, the price had crossed ₹151 crore per acre. So far, through three phases of auctions, HMDA has sold a total of 27 acres, earning ₹3,708 crore.
On December 5, another 1.98 acres in the same layout under ‘Golden Mile Site-2’ will be auctioned. The upset price here has been set at ₹70 crore per acre, and officials expect the final bidding price to cross ₹100 crore per acre.
