

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to organize a kite festival at lakes across the state on January 11, 12 and 13 as part of Sankranti celebrations. He asked the tourism department to conduct the events in a grand manner. On Thursday, Hydra Commissioner Ranganath met the Chief Minister at his Jubilee Hills residence and explained the lake restoration works taken up under Hydra. The CM suggested inviting IT professionals and employees to the kite festival at Hitech City Tummidikunta. He also instructed officials to hold kite festivals with film personalities at Kukatpally Nallacheruvu and with sports personalities at Burukuddin Lake in Rajendranagar.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister assured that Indiramma houses will be allotted to farmers who lost land due to the construction of the Greenfield Radial Road Phase–2 in Kadthal and Amangal mandals of Kalwakurthy constituency. MP Mallu Ravi met the CM and submitted a request seeking support for the affected farmers. He also asked for fair compensation at market value. The CM responded positively and assured that necessary support would be provided.
