The incident involving Iran's ballistic missile attacks on Israel has sparked international alarm. Reports indicate that these attacks were aimed at the nuclear research facility located in the city of Dimona. However, officials have stated that the facility itself sustained no direct damage. Nevertheless, reports suggest that over 100 people were injured after missiles landed in nearby residential areas.
It appears that Israel's defense systems were partially unsuccessful in intercepting the missiles launched from Iran. Several buildings in the cities of Arad and Dimona were destroyed, and massive fires broke out. Officials reported that nearly 88 people were injured in Arad alone, with several individuals in critical condition. 150 families were evacuated from the affected areas to safer locations.
These attacks are believed to have been carried out in retaliation for strikes previously conducted against Iran's Natanz nuclear facility. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned the incident and warned that an appropriate response would be delivered. These developments are further escalating tensions in the Middle East.
