

The Telangana government has announced major transfers of IAS officers across the state. A total of 45 officers have been transferred or given new responsibilities. The orders were issued by Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao as part of an administrative reshuffle.
As part of these changes, key departments have received new leadership. Sanjay Kumar has been appointed as Special Chief Secretary of the Panchayat Raj department. Jitesh V. Patil has taken charge as CMD of SPDCL, while Musharraf Farooqui has been appointed as CMD of a new DISCOM. E. Sridhar has been named Principal Secretary of the Irrigation department, N. Sridhar as Principal Secretary of IT & C and Gaurav Uppal as Secretary of the Finance department.
Other notable appointments include Sabyasachi Ghosh, who has been given charge of flagship welfare and development schemes along with CSR. M. Dana Kishore has received additional responsibility for disaster management, while Rahul Bojja has been moved to political affairs with additional BC welfare duties. B. Vijiendra, D. Divya and Adwait Kumar Singh have also been assigned new roles. The government expects these changes to improve administrative efficiency across the state.
