HYDRA officials have protected government land worth nearly ₹700 crore in Kondapur, Hyderabad. About four acres of land belonging to Jangamoni Kunta, located on the Sherilingampally Municipal Office–Madinaguda stretch, was found to be illegally encroached upon. Encroachers had reportedly filled the land with soil, converted it into plots, and were preparing it for sale. Following this, revenue officials registered cases against those involved.
Acting on complaints, HYDRA authorities launched an operation and began fencing the area around the water body to prevent further encroachments. Officials stated that such drives will continue to safeguard public land and water resources across the city.
