Hundreds of flights cancelled, passengers facing severe hardship

The IndiGo crisis continues unabated with hundreds of flights cancelled even today. Major airports witnessed massive disruptions – Bengaluru (150 flights), Hyderabad Shamshabad (115 flights), and Chennai (38 flights) were the worst hit. Thousands of passengers remain stranded across the country.

Despite promising to restore 95% of services today, IndiGo and other airlines have been accused of fleecing passengers with skyrocketing fares. Ticket prices on key routes like Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad have shot up to ₹30,000–₹35,000, drawing sharp public anger over profiteering amid the chaos.
