Devotee rush continues at Tirumala, the abode of Lord Sri Venkateswara, revered as the presiding deity of the Kali Yuga. On Friday, devotees are reportedly taking between 12 and 18 hours for darshan. Large crowds are waiting across 26 compartments at the Vaikuntham Queue Complex, reflecting the sustained influx of pilgrims.
TTD officials said all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth darshan experience without inconvenience to devotees. Annaprasadam, milk, and drinking water are being distributed to devotees in the queue lines through Srivari sevaks. On Thursday, a total of 61,655 devotees had darshan, while 21,003 devotees offered their hair as part of their vows. The Srivari hundi income for the day stood at ₹3.89 crore, officials added.
