Heat conditions are increasing across many parts of India, with temperatures already crossing 40°C in several regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for multiple states due to the rising heat levels.
States including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, West Bengal, and Bihar are expected to experience high temperatures.
According to IMD, the heat is likely to intensify further from the second week of March. Authorities have advised people to avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun and take precautionary measures.
