Hearing on the petitions of Pawan Kalyan and Jr. NTR in the Delhi High Court

The court has heard petitions related to the violation of personal rights arising from misleading and false content circulated on social media. The matter was taken up by a bench headed by Justice Manmeet Preetam Singh Arora.

Actors Jr NTR and Pawan Kalyan stated in their petitions that defamatory social media campaigns were affecting their dignity and personal rights. Appearing on their behalf, senior advocate Sai Deepak informed the court that morphed images and offensive posts were being widely shared online.

He argued that such content was causing serious damage to their reputation and sought appropriate directions to curb the spread of false and defamatory material. The court is expected to continue hearing the matter in the coming days.
