Telangana Health Department has completed the recruitment of 1,284 Lab Technician Grade–2 posts. Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha released the official selection list on Monday. The Medical & Health Services Recruitment Board had issued the notification late last year, receiving 24,045 applications, of which 23,323 candidates appeared for the Computer-Based Test. The selection list was finalized and uploaded on the official MHSRB website. Speaking on the occasion, the minister congratulated all selected candidates and emphasized that the government is strengthening public hospitals by improving infrastructure and filling critical vacancies.
He stated that over 9,000 posts have already been filled in the last two years, and recruitment for another 7,000+ posts is underway. Vacancies across key categories such as doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and pharmacists are being filled to enhance patient care. Minister Raja Narasimha highlighted that government hospitals, once struggling due to staff shortages, are now bustling with activity. With increased manpower, hospitals are delivering better medical services to patients. He assured that the remaining vacancies will also be filled at the earliest, ensuring comprehensive healthcare delivery across Telangana.
