Pawan Kalyan seeks report on pollution control measures

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan visited the Jindal Waste-to-Energy plant in Naidupeta, where electricity is generated from municipal waste. He reviewed the project’s setup costs, operational details, and sought information on power generation and unit pricing from officials.

He also questioned the delay in commissioning the Kakinada Jindal plant, to which representatives responded that it would be made operational by November. Pawan Kalyan sought a detailed report on pollution control measures. Officials informed him that the Pollution Control Board submits reports four times a year.
