At the Ugadi Panchanga Sravanam (almanac reading) event held at Telangana Bhavan on the occasion of the Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram, BRS Working President and MLA K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) participated along with party leaders. Following traditional rituals, noted scholars Mrityunjaya Sharma and Phanindra Sharma presented the Panchanga and shared key predictions for the year. During the event, they expressed their views on governance, public issues and future prospects.
The scholars stated that if governance failures continue, public dissatisfaction is likely to increase, thereby strengthening the opposition. They emphasized that failure to address public issues could pave the way for the opposition to emerge as a strong alternative. Concerns were also raised that changes in the education system could negatively impact students and there is a possibility of youth being misled. They further warned that unemployment could rise if the government fails to take appropriate measures.

On the positive side, the scholars predicted favorable conditions for agriculture, with good rainfall expected and prospects of abundant crop yields. They noted that India is likely to make progress in trade and gain greater global recognition. However, they cautioned that prices of gold, silver and food grains may increase, and certain risks such as accidents could rise. They also expressed optimism that living standards would improve and that women may receive greater opportunities in higher positions.
