Good News from the Andhra Pradesh Government for State Employees!

The Andhra Pradesh Government has delivered welcome festive cheer to employees and their families ahead of Sankranti. Long-pending Dearness Allowance (DA), Dearness Relief (DR) arrears, and surrendered leave encashments are being credited directly to the accounts of government employees and police personnel. In addition, the government has begun clearing pending bills of contractors, bringing relief across departments.

The amounts are being credited on Bhogi day, triggering widespread happiness among employees, police personnel, pensioners, and contractors. Each eligible employee and police personnel is receiving approximately ₹70,000 to ₹80,000 towards DA and DR arrears, with police also getting surrender leave and TA payments. Retired employees are likewise receiving their pending dues. The Finance Department is crediting funds to nearly 5.70 lakh beneficiaries, with employee and police unions expressing gratitude to the government for the timely release.
