The Andhra Pradesh government has brought encouraging news for unemployed youth. Preparations are underway to release a Job Calendar aimed at filling vacancies across various government departments. The government is planning to announce the Job Calendar by Ugadi and initiate the recruitment process soon after.
Minister Nara Lokesh has instructed officials to ensure a systematic approach in preparing the Job Calendar. Departments have been asked to submit detailed reports on vacant posts, indicating the government’s intent to undertake large-scale recruitment.
Officials are currently compiling department-wise vacancy data, including details of contract-based employees. This information is being uploaded to the Nidhi HRMS portal under the supervision of the Finance Department.
Initial estimates suggest that nearly 30 percent of posts across departments are vacant. In some cases, contract employees are currently handling these roles. The government is expected to finalize clear guidelines for filling these vacancies.
After the Job Calendar announcement, around 20 notifications are likely to be issued through APPSC. While the DSC–2025 recruitment process has already been completed, preparations are also underway to release another DSC notification in February.
