False Propaganda Spread Over Jatara Arrangements...Minister Seethakka

Minister Seethakka stated that the Medaram Sammakka–Saralamma Jatara concluded successfully. She said that all arrangements, including temple-related works, were carried out smoothly and the event ended peacefully without any untoward incidents. The minister alleged that a minor theft incident was deliberately exaggerated through false propaganda.

She added that people from all sections, including class, mass, and high-class groups, visited the Jatara in large numbers to offer prayers. Around 2.5 crore devotees are estimated to have attended the Medaram Jatara. The reverse Jatara is expected to take place in the next couple of days. Minister Seethakka also said that roads around Medaram will be widened before the next Jatara to avoid traffic congestion and that she will review Godavari Pushkaram preparations with officials in Mulugu district.
