Delhi Govt Offers Deal for Petrol, Diesel Cars!

The Delhi government has announced a special incentive for petrol and diesel car owners. Under the scheme, owners will be allowed to convert their old vehicles into electric vehicles. Financial assistance of ₹50,000 will be provided for each of the first 10,000 vehicles to encourage the transition to cleaner transport and reduce pollution.

To implement this initiative, the Delhi government has prepared Electric Vehicle Policy 2.0. Officials said the policy is likely to be discussed and approved in an upcoming Delhi Cabinet meeting. Once approved, the scheme will be rolled out to promote wider adoption of electric vehicles.
