

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that the NDA coalition government is committed to supporting farmers and ensuring their welfare. During the third installment release event of the PM Kisan and Annadata Sukhibhava scheme held in Gannavaram, he announced that ₹2,670 crore had been directly deposited into the bank accounts of 4.685 million farmers across the state. The Chief Minister joined farmers in watching the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who spoke virtually from Guwahati.
Chandrababu Naidu said that as promised in the election manifesto, the government is providing strong financial support to farmers by giving ₹20,000 annually to each farmer. This includes ₹6,000 from the Centre and ₹14,000 from the state government. He added that the previous government had provided only ₹7,500, while the present administration has significantly increased the support. The Chief Minister also announced plans to introduce AI-based agronomist services soon to strengthen agriculture and improve farmers’ productivity.
