CM Revanth’s Announcement on Hyderabad Metro in Assembly

In a key announcement in the Telangana Assembly, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that the government has decided to take over the Hyderabad Metro from Larsen & Toubro (L&T). He also introduced a resolution regarding this decision, which was later approved by the Assembly.

The Chief Minister further said that both the Central and State governments will work together on the expansion of the Hyderabad Metro. The decision is expected to improve public transport and make travel easier for citizens in the city.

However, T. Harish Rao raised objections to the way the resolution was passed. He criticized the Assembly for approving it without proper discussion and argued that it should not be called unanimous, but rather a one-sided decision.
