Efforts by TTD to preserve the sanctity of Tirumala while providing high-quality services to devotees are truly commendable. In a significant step toward strengthening the faith and trust of millions of devotees, TTD has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Food Analysis Laboratory. This facility has been established at an estimated cost of ₹25 crore in collaboration with the State Food Laboratory and FSSAI. Designed to meet the highest standards, the lab enables detailed examination of the quality of raw materials used in the preparation of prasadam.
Equipped with advanced technologies such as e-tongue and e-nose, the laboratory allows precise digital analysis of the taste and aroma of food items. This initiative plays a crucial role in further enhancing the quality of prasadam offered to devotees. With a strong focus on food safety and quality, the facility also aims to improve transparency in the entire process.
In addition, the Integrated Command and Control Centre, set up to ensure quicker darshan and effective crowd management, was also reviewed. This AI-powered center enables real-time monitoring of crowd density, waiting times for darshan, vehicle movement, accommodation and medical emergencies on a single platform. By leveraging predictive analytics, it helps anticipate crowd surges and manage queue systems efficiently. Through the integration of technology in areas such as sanctity, spirituality, convenience and serenity, TTD’s initiatives are significantly contributing to safeguarding the sentiments of millions of devotees while enhancing their overall pilgrimage experience.
