

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has asked Telugu Desam Party state president Palla Srinivasa Rao to submit a detailed report regarding the involvement of Eluru Member of Parliament Putta Mahesh in the Moinabad drugs case. The Chief Minister took the allegations against the MP seriously and directed the party leadership to issue a notice to him. Party leaders have also been instructed to ensure that such incidents do not damage the party’s reputation, and strict action will be taken against anyone found responsible.
Police officials stated that six people tested positive in the drugs investigation related to a weekend gathering held at a farmhouse in Aziznagar, Moinabad. Those who tested positive include former legislator Pilot Rohith Reddy, Eluru MP Putta Mahesh, and others identified as Ritesh Reddy, Namith, Kaushik Ravi, and Arjun Reddy. According to the police, the gathering was organised by Pilot Rohith Reddy, and Putta Mahesh was among those who attended the event.
