The Central Government has issued a strict warning against passengers who cause inconvenience to fellow travelers by playing music loudly without using earphones during flights. Authorities stated that such behavior will be treated seriously, and offenders may be categorized as “unruly passengers,” which could result in removal from the aircraft or even a future travel ban.
Responding to a question in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol clarified that provisions already exist under the Aircraft Rules, 1937, to take action against passengers displaying indisciplined behavior. He also reminded travelers that taking photographs inside airports or aircraft without prior permission is a violation of aviation regulations.
