Centre Announces Flight Ticket Prices After Indigo Flight Cancellations

Due to the large number of Indigo flight cancellations, flight ticket prices have increased sharply. The central government stated that other airlines also raised their fares because of the Indigo crisis. To reduce the burden on passengers, the government has now fixed new ticket prices.

According to the new rules:

For travel up to 0–500 km, the ticket price is ₹7,500

For 500–1000 km, the price is ₹12,000

For 1000–1500 km, the price is ₹15,000

For distances above 1500 km, the price is ₹18,000

The government made it clear that airlines should not charge more than these fixed rates.
