A series of fire accidents in the outskirts of Hyderabad has created panic among residents. Two major incidents were reported in the areas under Jeedimetla and Dundigal police station limits, forcing people to rush out of their homes in fear.
In the first incident, a massive fire broke out in a warehouse storing solvent drums illegally in Ram Reddy Nagar, located in the Jeedimetla industrial area. The flames spread quickly and several chemical drums exploded with loud noises, even flying onto the roads. Thick smoke covered the entire area, causing panic and forcing residents to evacuate their homes.
In another incident, a fire broke out in a decoration materials warehouse in Bahadurpally’s Green Hills Colony under Dundigal limits. Due to the presence of plastic items, the fire spread rapidly and even reached a nearby house. The entire colony was filled with dense smoke, making it difficult for people to breathe. Fire department teams rushed to both locations and are working hard to control the flames, while police have registered cases and started an investigation.
