APS RTC has been honored with the prestigious national-level "Governance Now – AARO Digital Transformation Summit" award, which Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy described as a matter of pride in a statement on Saturday. The minister highlighted that RTC officials, supervisors, and staff are providing services with dedication, and timely information to passengers has significantly improved service quality. The award recognizes APS RTC's efforts in leveraging digital technology for public service. The implementation of the Automatic Announcement System (AAS) at major bus stations was also praised.
Minister Ramprasad Reddy further stated that APS RTC is taking steps in line with CM Chandrababu Naidu's vision, aiming to provide more modern and convenient services to passengers in the coming days. Initiatives such as free bus travel for women and maintaining normal fares during festival seasons are setting APS RTC as a model for public transport across the country. He congratulated RTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao for playing a key role in achieving this award.
