AP government announces rewards for Women’s World Cup winner, issues official orders!

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a series of major incentives for Sreecharani in recognition of her outstanding performance on the world stage. Applauding her achievement at the World Cup, the state has decided to honour her with a substantial cash reward and other benefits.

As part of the announcement, the AP government will present Sreecharani with a cash prize of ₹2.50 crore. In addition, a residential plot measuring 1,000 square yards will be allotted to her in Kadapa. The government has also decided to appoint her to a Group-1 level post in the state administration, and official orders to this effect have been issued.
