The President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has appointed five new judges to the Supreme Court of India. The newly appointed judges include Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, and Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
The list also includes Justice Arun Palli, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, along with Venkita Subramani Mohana. These appointments are expected to strengthen the Supreme Court and enhance the efficiency of the country's judicial system.
