

A major fire accident occurred in Telangana as another private travels bus caught fire. The incident took place near Veliminedu village in Chityala mandal, Nalgonda district, on the Vijayawada–Hyderabad national highway. The bus belonging to Vihari Travels suddenly caught fire while carrying 29 passengers. Fortunately, all passengers managed to break the windows and escape safely before the flames spread. The bus was completely gutted within minutes.
Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. This incident comes just weeks after the tragic V. Kaveri Travels bus fire in Kurnool district, where 19 people were charred to death. Repeated bus fire accidents have raised serious concerns over the safety of private travels operations.
