

A mild earthquake was recorded in the Bay of Bengal on Tuesday morning, causing slight ground vibrations in the surrounding regions. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the quake measured 4.2 on the Richter scale. The tremor occurred at around 7:26 AM at a depth of nearly 35 kilometers beneath the surface. NCS confirmed on X that there were no reports of casualties or property damage.
A similar event was reported earlier on November 21 in the Indian Ocean region, where a magnitude 4.3 quake was recorded. That quake originated at a depth of about 10 kilometers.
On Monday evening, Haryana experienced mild tremors measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was detected at a depth of 5 kilometers near the Sonipat region at around 9:22 PM. Nepal also reported a minor earthquake on Sunday. The tremors were felt in the Bajhang district of the Sudur Paschim province, where a 4.4 magnitude quake was recorded. Local authorities confirmed that no damage occurred.
