Why Did Naga Chaitanya Turn Producer for ‘Dhootha 2’?

Actor Naga Chaitanya, who made a successful OTT debut with the hit web series ‘Dhootha’, is set to return with its much-awaited sequel, ‘Dhootha 2’. The first season, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video, received widespread appreciation from audiences and critics alike. Nearly three years later, the sequel has officially gone on floors, with Naga Chaitanya taking on an additional responsibility as a producer.

Speaking about the project, Chaitanya said that ‘Dhootha’ holds a special place in his career and inspired him to contribute beyond acting. He revealed that his passion for the series motivated him to support the project as a producer as well. The actor also praised director Vikram Kumar and producer Sharrath Marar, highlighting their strong professional bond. Meanwhile, reports suggest that actress Bhumika may play a key role in the sequel. However, an official confirmation regarding her casting is still awaited.
