The pre-release business of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar’s upcoming film, 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', has become a hot topic in trade circles. Specifically, intense negotiations are underway between the producers and distributors regarding the theatrical rights for the Andhra region.
Reportedly, the producers are demanding a staggering ₹70 crore for these rights, while buyers are leaning towards a deal around ₹60 crore. Given the blockbuster success of the previous Pawan-Harish Shankar collaboration, 'Gabbar Singh', expectations for 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' are sky-high. Considering this massive craze, the production house, Mythri Movie Makers, is reportedly quoting such high prices. However, distributors are exercising caution as they evaluate current market conditions before finalizing the deal. Trade experts estimate that the total theatrical business for the film across all regions could reach approximately ₹155 crore. Starring Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna alongside Pawan Kalyan, the film features music by Devi Sri Prasad. With the worldwide release scheduled for March 26, 2026, the deal for the Andhra rights is expected to be locked very soon.
