

Trisha Krishnan watched Vijay’s much-awaited final film Jana Nayagan on its opening day along with her friends. A selfie taken after the screening was shared on social media with a caption describing the film as another celebration of Vijay’s unmatched screen presence. Trisha’s mother, Uma Krishnan, also praised the film, saying she thoroughly enjoyed it but felt emotional knowing it marked Vijay’s farewell as an actor.
Despite being delayed for several months due to certification-related issues, Jana Nayagan has opened with impressive box office numbers. According to trade reports, the film collected around Rs. 78.27 crore gross worldwide on its first day, including approximately Rs. 41 crore net in India. With Vijay now focusing entirely on his political career, fans are celebrating his final cinematic outing while expressing that his presence on the big screen will be deeply missed.
